Granite questions

Indian granite FAQ

Is Indian granite good for kitchen countertops?

Yes. Indian granite stone is one of the most practical kitchen stones: it handles heat, resists acids far better than marble, and is hard-wearing when sealed. Darker, denser varieties such as Absolute Black need the least care.

Which granite finish should I choose for floors?

Polished granite suits interior floors and countertops. For exterior floors, steps, pool surrounds and paving, choose flamed, leathered or brushed finishes for better grip.

What thickness do granite slabs come in?

Common slab thicknesses are 18-20 mm and 30 mm; tiles and paving are cut to project needs. Thickness, finish and size are confirmed per order.

Do you export Indian granite?

Yes. SHILATAL supplies Indian granite slabs, tiles and cut-to-size for the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Russia. Write to social@shilatal.com with destination, format, thickness and quantity.

Why are there no prices on this page?
